    back to bone stock.
the Toyota parts guy, stated there is a more recent update. so i bought the OEM stuff. it wasn't bad.

i got a new harness, part number 82141-04Q80
and the new Resistor part number 97138-04070

it looks like the parts are from the 3rg gen trucks?

here is the rub. the colors are not a perfect match. YAY!!

the new harness has slightly different colors. is this right? is this how i match it up.

    (new)Blue (old)BLUE
    (new)green (old)GREEN
    (new)White (old)Grey with a pink stripe
    (new) Black (old)Black.

I’d make sure the new resistor will even fit first.
The only way I know to find the correct matching colors would be to do a resistance test between the pins. The more resistance the lower the speed. Then match the wire colors to the pins.
I don’t even see a G/Pk wire listEd for the blow motor on any of my diagrams?
Maybe I’m just over looking it?

    Maybe @Jimmyh or @Muddinfun know.
    I don’t have access to the plug/PIN number on a 3rd Gen.

i could be wrong about the grey/pink..i was cussing at the moment. :)

btw, your first step is damn near genius. i didnt even think about it. it could be an entirely moot point.

Yeah, see if it fits first.
We’ll try to figure out the rest, if it fits?

Yep, Jimmy's pic should be right. The consensus a while back was that you match white/black to white/black and then after that you match up colors but ignore the stripe color.
