Greenlight 23 window bus 1/64. Has the indent on the roof for the windows but they are just painted over.

 

I think I got a great one for HW Wednesday tomorrow. I hated opening it, but it had to be done.

Here is a kit that I just photographed during the build. The paint work and bare metal foil are done. I usually assemble parts that will be painted the same color first. The motor was the only real change that I made besides the color. I used the engine that came with the kit but changed the carb, valve covers and air cleaner. The outside pictures are true to the color I used. Kit was easy build except for final assembly. The body did not want to snap in place. I still had to finish some details on the motor. Its not the best I have done but came out pretty decent otherwise in a 3 day build. I have a MPC 57 Chevy Gasser that I am about to start working on and a can of Candy Lime to spray it with.

I spy a home gym. Off topic but my wife and I are building that in our garage as we speak. We were fortunate to snag a Rogue rack like we wanted before they were sold out. Now since the WORLD is sold out of Bumper Plates and Iron weights we are kinda screwed on what to do.

 

I remember those days. I cut my collection in half and still have a bedroom full and one wall in my garage. You can never have enough toys.

We did turn are garage into a gym, offer up and some store in town that sell equipment have some products, but it is getting expensive.

 

I have a bunch of 1996 and 1997 1st editions Brand New In Box. I know I dont have the complete sets - theyre missing 5-6 from each. Any idea what theyre worth? When I was younger, my mom and I would dig through the shelves looking for pairs. One that I could open, and one that I could "collect". They've been sitting at my parents house since 1996 and on.

Id have to go dig them out to show you guys

 

Late yesterday my wife found some bumper plates thru her industrial supplier for her property she manages. Yep they are getting expensive. I saw an individual selling the Ethos 450 dollar set from Dick's Sporting Goods on eBay for $975.00. They need to be throat punched in my opinion.
