Good morning all, wow missed a lot on here yesterday afternoon.

Bronco - good call on the looks-like the old Scout. I think I shared this a while back so sorry - memory overload today - before I bought my current Taco I tried for over a year to import (and License) a LC76 which is all manual no buttons, has the Toyota diesel (which is awesome, emissions are better than required her in the US and very efficient) so why couldn't I get one - not a problem shipping just cannot license due to safety - does not have airbags - nothing to do with emissions. I can get a 25 year old version licensed but I wanted to get a 2019 at the time.

I talked with Toyota International and US to see if they would ever offer their diesel in the US, their answer was no (it might change now) due to sales research showing the majority of US customers do not want diesel and because diesel is higher here (not now, I saw diesel $.20 cheaper in the Springs yesterday).

Oh well, have a great HUMP Day everyone

    https://www.kbzk.com/news/fire-watch/crews-battling-terrible-fire-in-gardiner

Gardiner is the gateway community at the NW entrance of Yellowstone. The cars in the background of the photo are on the park road, lined up to get thru the entry station.
Looks to be on the main corner in town, only road that passes thru to the park. Gift shops, restaurants, etc on the block. Mostly oldwr buildings with poor fire suppression systems. I'm sure most of them were already struggling this year...cant be good :(

I consider that technical 4 wheeling, that's what I do most of the time, sometimes harder.

Sorry for the poor video quality

I'm NOT a BMW fan one headlight is like $1500 That is just ridiculous!! The this was cool and FAST! uses the Mini Cooper engine and electric.. It's like a Corvette though, getting my big ass in and out of them is always a AFV show entry!!

Depending on heavy rain / flash flooding over the winter or even earthquakes this trail changes constantly .I've seen high dollar $$$$$$ Rock buggies struggling to get through the Gatekeeper

At a 4x4 club meeting we were talking about that last night in fact. I have seen 100,000.00 plus buggies struggle on trails. Driver ability and knowing the vehicle goes a long way.

100% agreed RJ! My '71 was sweet with 4 barrel Holley, Edelbrock, headers, 3" roll bar, relocated Hurst shifter on the floor, dual fuel tanks, 9" rear, Dana front.... took the backseat out, lots of midnight recreation! Ahh, the good ole days.
