Was considering a replacement after six oil changes using the same washer., I just turn it over and it works without any leaks

I just changed my oil. New washer at every change. If Toyota put it on when they built the truck, I assume they know what they are doing.

I buy both filters and crush washers in bulk. They're cheap and I've always got em on hand.

Motorcycle manufacturers tell you to change crush washer every time too. I just check it out and if it's not cracked, seriously deformed, and there's been no signs of it leaking I reuse it. They're readily available and any copper or aluminum or now nylon washer will suffice. I think I probably reuse them at least 10-12 times before I bother to replace them.
