    We love it. Honestly he's a total asshole without it because he was associating us to his feedings. Bitch to wake us up to get fed. Now we have a timed feeder that goes off in 4 times in small amounts and couldn't be happier.

    Right before we wake up (so he doesn't wake us up), lunch, 4pm (right before we were getting home otherwise he'd trip us coming through the door) and again before bed.

    Yep, him staying at a friends gives us a week to clean the house (of dog/cat scent) and get all our stuff moved in so it should feel relatively like home when he gets there. I think he'll be fine.
