Looking to see if I can service my shifter linkage on a 2016 auto. It gets stiff and doesn’t always go in gear after sitting for a few days.

Most guys my age would kill for a stiff shifter. But if it's still stiff after 4 hours, you should probably get it looked at.

Hell of a first post. Welcome OP. Try lubing up the linkage and see if it loosens up. Also do you park on a hill? Mine has a hard time going into reverse from park, because I'm parked on an incline.

I’ve had mine lobbed twice. It’s ok for a while, but then gets really stiff. It has a hard time going into drive, throws a check engine light and traction control off light when I come to a stop. Is this something that should be a recall issue?
