    No they did a pad slap.
    Put half of the left shims on the right and vice versa. Bound up the pads. No lube either.
    Overheated the pads and rotor and the pad anti squeak backing got so hot it separated..

    ...came home and took a power nap. Tomorrow's Friday. Still loving these 4 day work weeks.

    They don't need brakes to be a danger. Brushing out edges on a dirt county road. Signs and cones delineating me from traffic. Asshole in a Jeep Cherokee passes by about 40mph on a 30mph road damn near sideways. The good thing is I have the dump truck between me and traffic while I'm loading. I'm going to see if I can get a Ranger out there next week (if I make it through tomorrow).

    Motorists don't understand cone zones , I hate working within a live lane with cars and semi trucks inches from you doing 70 plus mph

    Being a former Auto club tow truck driver I've had many close calls next to live lanes . The worst one was having my tow truck sideswiped by a Motorhome as I was trying to hook up a disabled car on the 125fwy in San Diego
