I got my Icon RXTs delivered today. BSP wouldn't come down my road, so we got to meet on main street in a no parking zone because that is safer.

I am sure it was because they had to drive them to your house instead of dropping them on main st. In July. In a crosswalk. In front of Renys.

finally its on the truck... only took 6 months of patience and a bit of money... just got it on before the downpour of rain. still need to wire in the lights, but looking at a switching system ATM https://www.amazon.com/TRIGGER-3001-Shooter-Accessory-Control/dp/B07CN3XZ8Y.. anyone use this?

now I wont have to depend on @SR-71A winching my ass out of a snowbank... well at least I can progress forward...

SS0 slimline hybrid, Smittybilt X20 10k COMP winch, and BD 20" S8 amber lens driving/combo lightbar W/BD harness.

tax return is filed, and I have a little bit of $$ saved up for my lift kit... looking at this... with JBAoffroad UCA's, 3" front and rear. full dobinsons kit, with the archive offroad U-bolt flip kit w/ superbumps I won at the Tacomaworld.com meet raffle

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/na5NvdfxOrM

kit can be chosen here, full lift for about $2800 minus the JBA's, and my labor... from what I read and understand about these they are better than kings, and a few others for their 3 way adjustability, high low speed compression, and rebound adjustment.. dobinsons have been around for a while in Australia, and I've read good reviews on these, and they are fully rebuildable...

I was in the Lone Jack Pond area for the last few days doing some camping/exploring. Did any of you roll into the large camping area Saturday. 2 Gladiators, a Wrangler, a Tacoma, and a Tundra were all overlanding together. The camp ground can easily fit twice as many vehicles. I think there are either 8 or 10 formal campsites there. I was up the road a few yards at the single Little Berry Pond site. A few thunder storms Friday. Saturday was beautiful. A few sprinkles as I left this morning.

Looking for a camping spot for this weekend. Moosehead/north Maine woods are one consideration, but we are going up for a week or so in a couple weeks.

I want to be on the water so we can swim/play in the canoe or Kayaks.

If you can get it, Baker Lake. If you want something very different, Wadleigh Pond (the northern end of the pond).

Hmm, I’ll scope those out some more. They both seem like a place we might venture to for our week long camping

Ho remote do you want to be? For state parks, Lily Bay is very nice. For more remote, I like Cliff Lake in the Allagash region.

Love lily bay, spent lots of time there, that’s a strong possibility if we go up for the weekend. When we go back up in August we will go further in.

I’ll look up Cliff lake, for this weekend, I’d rather not spend too much time getting to a camp spot. We even talked about staying near Acadia.

We have tented on a grassy knoll right on the shore at Cliff lake. You could even rent a cabin from Macannamac if you want to. I've done that during bird season. It's a North Maine Woods camp site area. Spider Lake is close by if that helps you find it. And, you can kayak there:
