TRD/ Magnuson 4.0 Supercharger Tips, Tricks, and Mods

Anyone know where I can get a magnuson crank pulley or an aftermarket one? I bought a used supercharger and I’m missing the crank pulley add on

 

Let me check when I get home later tonight. I gave one away, but don’t remember if it was the crank or SC pulley.

I got a very exciting email this morning! First procharged tacoma on tacomaworld and I'll have it back Monday so more pictures to come!

 

Looking forward to your impressions. Only thing I'm not a fan of is the hot air intake. But I'm sure we could get creative and remedy that part.

Id have to go out and look at my truck, but we might be able to route it over to the fender well somehow.

 

Right out the fender? Snorkel?

 

Probably best on the passenger side by the washer tank where the stock intake draws air from.

Or people run to the hood vents under the windshield as well.

 

Snorkel is an option for those that need one. Like @TodayWasTHeDaY said, I was referring to plumbing the stock hole that’s in the fender already. The wiper cowl could work as well. There are plenty of silicone hose offerings where you could plumb it whichever direction you want.

I assume pro charger did it like that because a fancy intake would make the kit a lot more expensive.

 

Do you think the orange will be a problem for you, like the blue would on the fuel injectors?

 

I would be worried - especially with how visible they are and the "high performance coil" printing. I'd probably plasti-derp em black before smog time.

 

Im Tor’n on wether to upgrade to the pro charger or wait for the Torspd turbo kit to be released.

 

How much customization do you want?

 

Do they even care about coil packs?

 

I haven't received them yet. I literally just bought them. Lol.

Dorkel that comes from the cowl for sure!

I'll probably just remove the RIPP writing on them and leave the rest as is. Coil packs are coil packs. The injectors are more of a big deal because of the fact that they are mentioned in the CARB EO verbiage.

 

I am anxious to see some datalogs with them.

 

The Aussie gents are quite curious as well.

 

It will be the first thing I do after they get put on! I'll send it to Justin and throw up some screenshots or the datalog file itself on here so you guys can take a look at them yourselves.
