There are lots of threads about headlight bulbs and they got me all confused. I want to order bulbs for when my truck arrives so I can be ready for a road trip.
Can someone easily recommend a high quality bulb replacement.
I do a lot of driving at night and especially on country roads. I want something very bright.
    Thanks.

Stock lights are just fine. Why replace something you haven't seen the performance of yet?

True I haven’t seen them personally, but from what I’ve read and heard the stock bulbs leave a lot to be desired. I do. A lot of driving and especially at night. I’d just like to have the best bulb available to give me the best lighting and driving experience.

I understand but dependability is also very important...I myself got me Sylvania Zevo's LED's...

I’ve been reading about the morimoto lights. They seem really good.

Absolutely. I know it’s a balance. I don’t want super bright with crappy dependability. I’d like a good balance of brightness and reliability

I'm glad to hear that, unfortunately most stuff sold on line are just that...bright. Osram designed the Sylvania Zevo for long life with OEM requirements specs in mind. They actually come with 5 years warranty...try that with other brands. Most of their other stuff has a lifetime warranty...it's your money and value and good engineering is just like Toyota. Yes, still made in Taiwan and some European countries...i myself try to avoid made in china stuff, where I can.

Stock halogen are garbage. I put auxbeam h11 f16s. Major difference. Great light output for $50 on low beams. Plug and play with zero issues for 2.5yrs.
