this is a cross-post. thought it might get more responses over here.

I ordered these guys and am wondering about having a layer under it to add color to the text cut outs so i could have the letters in red. I kinda like having the red accents on my truck.

would the entire section need to have the second layer to prevent an obvious bump in the top layer, or am i over thinking it, and the bump from the under layer not be so obvious?

 

I vote to have under layer of red run entire current applique. You might be surprised how easy it easy to see such a little ridge but after have friends and foes comment on it you'll be ripping it off to redo!!

 

You will definitely notice a bump.

 

kinda what i was thinking. with how easy it is to see the tiniest of bubbles...

Re: Hood graphic, are you still making this hood graphic? Would the extra wide option also be the "Long" version?
