CLEAR COAT FLAKING FROM FENDER FLARES

    whats easiest and cheapest way to fix the well known flaking of clear coat on the fender flare?

    Buy bushwhacker flares and replace without painting. Flares are expensive. Painting them is very expensive.

    I DIY'd them on my old truck. Take them off, hit them with primer, color-matched spray paint and clear. You will also need new clips as those tend to break when you take the flares off. A professional respray of all 4 flares would probably run $500-1000.
