Have the 2014 SR5 entune head unit.

Is there a easy upgrade to a gen 3 head unit with apply play or something similar?

Hood struts Weathertech floor mats Roll n lock bed cover With custom Yakima rack over the bed Poploc tail gate Bed mat Retrofit source led fog lights Hitch and or 4 pin wiring Or just random small crap!
Look at Alpine ILX-207. Android auto/Apple carplay. Plug in navigation off your phone. Good sound. Just no cd player. I got one with xm module. Dump the oem garbage head unit. If your worried about theft, cover it with a $10 dummy cover. These head units sell for about $350 on ebay regularly.

I put a Sony headunit in my 2015. Check out Crutchfield’s website; their part picker will let you get any other wiring you may want or need, including backup cam and steering wheel controls

I replaced my JBL entune unit with a Kenwood that has wireless CarPlay. Crutchfield will get you everything you need, including a wiring harness and Maestro so you can use the steering wheel controls still.
