Yup i know he does. Just be a matter of getting it all squared away before a ~1200 mile drive while towing and the 1200 mile return trip lol.

Nah no delivering it anywhere. If its getting installed it'll be by me. Might take a bit of reworking my second battery plus the winch solenoid though.

One thing to keep in mind if you buy the whole kit from ProCharger, is you're not getting a MPVI2, you're getting a RTD device. Which means no custom tuning. It only reads/loads files.

Yeah. I thought folks might be interested in knowing that as it's a pretty important piece of that puzzle.

With some datalogging I could reconstruct one, but I'd rather spend that time and just dial it in myself.

So today marked 4 weeks of my 3 to 4 week estimated install time so i shot them an email to see where we were at and this was their reply

"Two main things have caused the delays. First it was changes behind the grill from other Tacoma’s, now it is belt spacing particularly when it comes to the crank pulley. This is throwing off belt alignment and could cause it to throw a belt at some point."

So we are shooting for next week. I just want my truck back:rofl:

4 weeks, what are they up to that whole time? I was thinking 2 days max for home wrencher to get it on.

I'm waitin for a few parts here, and i'm good to go. Doing urd headers/y pipe first, then I can put the SC on.

I'm curious about this pulley alignment issue, scrape them for some more details for the rest of us. :boink:

Well my truck is up there for their research and development programs (got a nice discount) and I know that they have already had to make changes to the intercoolers mounting bracket. So until they get one of each model year in they won't sell that particular year as a full kit, just the tuner kit

Ah that makes sense then. They could just send a bag of zip ties with "be creative" written on it.

Stoked for you man, can't wait to hear it rips. What other mods do you have done to your truck? headers, exhaust, cam gears, etc?

The air intake isn't very elegant, I have been scouring the web for other ideas. I'm gonna do something like below. The inlet on the D1SC is 3.75", silicone adapters/reducers are proving super hard to come by in that size.

Part of the deal I got required me to be stock engine/exhaust wise so I'm stock right now but I plan on long tubes, roostfactor y pipe, and I'm undecided on what to do after the y pipe so I'm up for suggestions. I'd really like a nice tone but not stupid loud and I'm not sure how I should go about that

Not familiar with the roost factor, I got the Doug Thorley y pipe that has the resonators since I'm anticipating more noise with the long tubes. Otherwise I have a custom 2.5" high tuck with a Magnaflow 12256. I recently added the Magnaflow, it replaced a blown out Afe muff that was getting a bit loud. The Mangnaflow has a nice smooth tone without any rasp. I hope to keep it around the same sound level and will add more resonators if needed.

Just picked the truck up and got some KC BBQ. Holy shit it sounds like a jet and that blow off valve is insane. I'll post pics and videos soon so if you have something specific you wanna see reply below and I'll be sure to do it!
