Hello, this is my first post here as I have recently acquired a new 2020 Tacoma. Figured id start it off with my first mod and possibly some insight into the Rago air compressor mount for the 3rd gen. I bought the Rago air compressor mount and ARB dual compressor from Rago last week, they had a 15% off coupon so I decided to take the plunge. I noticed on their website a disclaimer about it not fitting a manual transmission due to the clutch reservoir... lucky for me I believe my clutch and brake share the same reservoir on the booster. I matched everything up with the photo they have online for 3rd gen tacomas with a brake booster and it alligned with what my truck looked like. When I started the install the support bracket would not line up with the bolt on the wheel well under the fuse box and it was hitting the plastic box holding the lines next to the fuse box as well. These are not vehicle specific parts and are in the same location on the automatic and manual transmission tacomas. I thought that's weird, but being as I got a discount and I did not want to be out the return shipping I got my cutting wheel, vise and bench grinder shaved off one of the mounting holes (about a 1/3 of it) and tweaked the bend on the bracket... voila she fit like a glove. The mount I received differs from what is pictured on their website (3 mounting holes as opposed to the 2 pictured), not sure whats going on here, but I clearly voided the Rago promise in order to make this fit. Maybe the pictures will paint a clearer picture, but its a solid mount and I am happy with it.

Strange. My clutch and brake are separate. If it works it works.

The offroad model has a totally different brake-by-wire setup from the sport/sr5/sr. Each model comes with manual and automatic transmission. So you've got 4 possibilities of what that area looks like. It's probably an issue ONLY for the offroad with a manual trans.

The Sports also share the MC reservoir with the brake fluid whereas the Offroads have a separate one.

Yup, so the issue I had didn't have to do with a clutch reservoir being in the way since it's just the brake booster (which I determined from the mounting photos on their website this should work with just a brake booster). The mounting hole on the wheel well under the fuse box did not line up and the plastic box with hose connections caused interference... which I believe are all mounted in the same position regardless of trim level auto/manual if I'm not mistaken.

Nice! Onboard air seems like a great upgrade which I am also planning on.

How accessable is the fuse box with the mount installed? It appears that most of it is visible, can you take off the lid without removing the mount?

Unfortunately this is one of the drawbacks to the particular mounting location, I'm assuming in order to get the proper hood clearance for the compressor itself the plate could not be moved up any higher. So in short no the fuse box is not accessible with the mount installed. However there are only 4 bolts to undo and the mount can be slid out with the bracket left in place in case any of the fuses or relays need to be serviced. Good thing you mentioned this as I will leave some slack in my wiring in account for having to remove for service.
