Hello! I've been a fan of Tacomas since I was a kid, and with my last vehicle (2016 Fiesta ST) getting totaled, I thought it was time to step up and get myself a truck! This is my first truck, first automatic vehicle, and also first engine larger than a 4cyl. I've had it for about 3 days now and put around 300mi on the clock already.

The truck has around 120k miles on it, has a pretty clean frame, clean body, and feels pretty tight for its age. From everything I've seen, I should be getting 200k+ miles of happiness from it so long as I maintain it.

It's bone stock at the moment (just has a bedcover), and while I don't have any major plans, I have already ordered some things for it. For starters, the previous owner snapped the antenna off so I ordered a new antenna base to fix that little issue. I also have a RAM x-mount ball on the way to mount to my driver's a-pillar handle. I might get some interior LEDs, and some random goodies off of tacomabeast just to spruce it up to my liking. The stereo is also definitely lacking so I'll probably get some components for the front along with some new rear door speakers.

I've been reading on here for the last few weeks since deciding to look for a Tacoma to purchase and am glad to finally be a part of the Tacoma family.

Thank you all for the warm welcomes! Definitely excited to be a Tacoma owner. The new antenna base is on its way and I'm looking forward to seeing if the HD weather works in my area. That will likely just be temporary though because an audio upgrade is definitely needed.

Also, have an interior air filter, intake air filter, and spark plugs on the way. Next up I'll probably start changing the F/R diff oil and grease the zerk fittings on the axle.

Hopefully, I can find some places in or around MD to test out the 4WD sooner rather than later as well! I'm definitely considering a trip to a local DE truck beach for a day of casual off-roading and relaxing as well. Just have to convince the fiance it's more of a relaxing beach day than a truck excursion :fingerscrossed:
