I'm pretty green when it comes to suspension set up on trucks but now that I've come to know my truck more intimately, I've been wanting to fix my "Tacoma lean". I'm about 5/8" lower on the driver side...and it scrubs while my passenger side does not. Has anyone here tackled this, and overcome it, without any subsequent issues? I'm not stoked about taking my damn suspension apart again, adding a spacer or adjusting the coilover, then paying for yet another alignment (just paid for a 2nd) but I feel like it's gonna drive me crazy if I don't fix it. What're your experiences with the Tacoma lean? I wish I would've known about this before I did all this work but oh well.

You can add a lean spacer to the rear driver leaf spring to attempt to compensate. This way you will at least avoid having to pay for another alignment.

The "Taco Lean" is pretty common. Usually we just adjust the coilovers to get it to sit right. If it still looks off, the rear shims like mentioned above would be a good addition. You shouldn't need to adjust the front coilovers much to get rid of the lean, so I imagine you could get away from not having to get it aligned again. Just be sure to take measurements before hand to see how much adjustments are needed.

yea, it should be 2:1 ratio so it only needs 1/4" of adjustment which shouldn't change preload much at all. I'm thinking I can compress the spring without touching a bolt actually, right? never tried it but it seems doable.

i'm not crazy about making changes to the rear to fix issues in the front.

Is your rear not leaning as well? Best practice is to adjust the driver side coilover 1/4" to 7/16" over the passenger pre load to compensate for lean as Accutune had explained. Next question is, do you know how to properly adjust your coilovers?
