was tossing around the idea of throwing some 285/75's on next go around (265/75 current)

i'm notch #3 up from w/ general spring HD's in the rear. about 1.5" all around from stock. Would like to keep the rake if possible but open to going notch 4 or 5

likely need a CMC but aside from that will 285's fit (cooper discoverer at3: https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tires/cooper-discoverer-at3-xlt/p/36886)?

    ray 10's, -12 offset

I have the ray 10s with -12 offset and they look badass but with that aggressive offset I have had to do pinch weld and cmc and minor fender trimming at back. It’s fine driving straight but turning and articulating at all rubs on mine before working on it. I’m lift 2.5” witH 285/75/16 nitto ridge grapplers.

Same for me, i'm at 1.5" lift on the TRD PRO 6112's. I like the low stance.

OP - you don't have to lift more to fit 285's, but you will have to trim... alot. had to do a CMC (cut back just infront of the body mount) hammer the pinch weld, trim the inner fender liner at the back, hammer back the mud flap mount at the bottom, trim the bottom of the fender, and get an alignment done to push the wheels as far forward as possible.

    EDIT i'm a 3rd gen... may be less trimming on a 2nd...

    nice

ill probably be going with something a bit less aggressive: cooper discoverer at3. I've got the p-rated cooper discoverers on now in 265/75
