Concord ca 5 yr old girl bday drive by

Hey everyone.

it’s my daughter Emma’s 5th birthday and we are doing a bday drive by tomorrow at 10 am In concord.

we participated in a neighbors young sons bday and a total of 8 cars showed. It was so sad.

my daughter is an unbelievably social person and this lock down and school cancellation has been killing her. No swim class, no ballet, no play dates. It’s been horrible for her.

I’m no great parent. I’m disabled and that’s not even a good excuse. We have a 1 year old so add that to the lessening of attention she has been getting.

she loves papas “race truck” and “roadster racers” (she loves F1 and car racing of any kind).

please, if you have 10 minutes to spare tomorrow, Sunday July 18th at 10am, meet in concord on the 3800 block of walnut ave.

bring your trucks, she would love to see them... bring your Prius, and honk and wave.
She would love to be the crown princess of attention for the day!

please help this not be the worst birthday ever!!

I came out of retirement and worked with the health dept on covid and quit because how political it is. I’m not saying there are not health risks but so many decisions are made simply because the folks on the other side of the aisle said something. It makes seeing her depressed and missing her friends hurt worse.

 

Dang man wish you were closer. I’ve got a R8 and could definitely be able to round up some other super cars if you were near

I appreciate it. I started reaching out a little bit earlier this week. And we were receiving a good amount of feedback from her classmates parents. And then yesterday and today we started getting cancellations and then when we went to that boy’s birthday drive-by and saw how bad it was. Started talking to some other parents and they say for the most part they are just very uneventful and I’m trying to kind of do a last minute Hail Mary..

@TacoJova kind of. The dad in me wants to get this as big as possible to make her the princess and she loves cars and trucks and people waving and saying hi Emma lol! (She’s turning 5 so easily amused)

but also, I’m a offroad truck guy, and was trying to be curteous to just reach out in communities I am a part of.

(also I don’t see the Toyota crowd as the douche nozzle doing donuts and ruining it for everyone crowd)

my wife has reached out to a friend whose husband is in the Livermore hot rod crowd. So fingers crossed.

I built a land speed car out of a Subaru, and asked if one of the subie PR people could help unofficially. That is a big maybe of just her friends (she knows Emma personally so that helps)

 

I was in concord today, had I known I would’ve gladly put off my trip until tomorrow! I hope the whole city rolls by for your daughter, and that she has the best birthday ever!
