Happily a new member, & thank you all as I have used & read a lot of the different forums in the past while for various different projects/ideas.

I have been having some troubles between loading/finding the wiring manuals I need & was hoping someone could help. I have looked on the ncttora.com website & various other threads about the same general subject but when compared to my truck the wiring colour codes are different/cannot locate the exact connector or bus that I want. My goal is to, without cutting wires, tap into the positive or ground of my 2015 Tacoma V6 auto, at a connector & run a kill-switch. Preferably this would be from the interior, not from the fuse/relay box in the engine bay.

Does that truck not have the factory immobilizer installed?

Immobilizers can be bypassed fairly easily by experienced thieves with the right tools. I have good insurance as well in case anyone comments on that, but if you have ever had to complete a total vehicle lose claim it is a nightmare to settle. After my last vehicle was stolen (2013 Tacoma Limited) I thought about installing a can a bear mace that is armed with a hidden switch & activated if the engine turns over. hahaha In the end I do not want to make it easy for someone to take it.

Thanks for the link, Ill take another look & see what I can find. How are the pin numbers of the connectors identified on the tacos & does anyone know where I can find the taco service manuals for free other than ncttora.com website? I have read about a one or two day pay for the manuals website, but unless I am doing a more extensive mod, I would rather not use them.

Reviving an old thread in hopes that someone knows...The quoted link (below) is dead, does anyone know where to find or how to identify the wires inside the cab for the fuel pump relay coming from the ECM? I’m curious for the same reasons as OP...

The c/opn relay is what you want to not turn on for theft prevention. You should be able to either interrupt the orange wire at 1C pin 13 or the blue/black wire at the ECM.

    This and that...
Hoping to get a little more help on this topic. Im not great at reading these diagrams. Looking for either the fuel pump power wire or what's recommended above, c/opn relay. Photos of location would be much appreciated. All Ive been able to find is the "big blue wire" seen in this picture. But I don't see anything to prove this on the diagrams. Thanks in advance.
