I don't like the back-up camera on my 2013 Tacoma with the monitor in the mirror. I bought a new, wireless camera and monitor. I'd like to install the transmitter in the tailgate and use the power line from the original camera. It has red, blue, white and black leads. Which one do I tap into to power my new camera?

This is for a 2012, Yours should be the same. I would check the power requirements of your replacement camera. I think it will have greater power requirement than the stock unit, which doesn't use 12 VDC. Use a meter and check before you connect anything.
You will probably need to run a separate power wire.

If it's a aftermarket 12V camera, just tap it into the rear taillight reverse wire and ground the black wire to a spot on the frame. ThiLike stated by JimmyH, the factory camera output is not 12V. I believe the factory is around 6V.
