Hi, I am looking to buy a 2nd gen taco and I came upon this listing https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/816566283/overview/
it seems like the car is leaning forward and I've seen this on a couple of different listings as well. I plan on getting an aftermarket suspension lift kit, could this be easily fixed by adjusting the rear and front struts accordingly? Or is this a deeper issue?

Anything advice would be helpful, I am just here to learn. Thanks!

That is typical for trucks since the idea is that when you load up the bed, it doesn’t squat. When the rear is lower than the front, it’s labeled “Cali Lean,” “Carolina Squat,” commonly “Bro Lean.”

An aftermarket suspension can fix that by adjusting the front coilovers. You could easily just leave the rear leaf packs alone if you want a leveled look. However, the stock leaf packs sag easily under load.

You want that lean to the front if you plan to ever tow or haul anything. Ignore the lean and focus on real problems.

Real problems as in undercarriage rust. OP, I would confirm if it's a new frame replacement or rattlecan paint job with a thorough undercarriage inspection. Sure looks suspiciously like a rattlecan paint job with overspray to the inner wheel well and shock.

    A 2005 with a 4 cylinder for $14K? Holy Crap! That’s at least $5K too much.

And some rocket scientist put TRD OR stickers on it.

Access cab, 4cyl, 131k miles, 2005, manual, not a true TRD.... offer $7k

not to mention it’s located in the state of CA .... that right there lowers the value by $2k

also, their bumper hitch ball is very ghetto

    None... yet
The 4 cylinder with the TRD stickers and the frame paint job makes me think it might have been rearended. Owner probably didn't go thru insurance. Might want to check the rear frame real good.
