Has anyone had problems with their steering wheel controls going bad? So far only one button has the problem but I'm afraid the rest are going to follow.

Right now my back/previous button doesn't work. On the bottom left side. I remember it struggling during the summer last year also but then it worked all winter. I wonder if the heat is messing up the rubber under the button. Idk.

does anyone know if I can just pop the button off like typical buttons or keyboard to check underneath for dirt and debris? The replacement part is like 60 bucks on eBay or $110 from dealer, but I want to try to fix it first.

A few mods here and there and counting....
Take it apart and check the contacts. That would be my first move.
