I did the same way in mine, except I didn’t have a dremel so I fought it with a box cutter for a friggin hour. The dremel sounds better!

But either way it’s really convenient way to use an otherwise useless little cubby, and avoid clonking your knee on the controller

I ordered a custom layout. Top Layout: Tekonsha P3 and Bottom Layout: EBAC.

    • C: Tall switch opening
    • B: Short switch opening
    • E: Dome light switch opening
    • A: Rear window slider switch opening
The majority of your switches will be C/B and you can definitely customize the layout beyond what I did. I have seen "C" openings on either side of the Tekonsha done by others on this board. I have no need of any more switches so I chose to leave that space blank. You can mix and match the openings (like moving or deleting the power slider switch if you relocate it to the center stack).

MESO definitely has a winner here!
