I've rearranged my priorities, putting Dana 60's and a FJ TC on hold, do a "step in the right direction" on my truck, and focus on my tiny piece of land and building a house on it.
    20191006_161354.jpg
So today I bought some used 5100's. I'm going to ditch the 3" front strut spacers, install 1" strut spacers, and install these 5100's on the front. I'm going with 600 lb springs because it's stock in weight.
    20200719_182540.jpg
After that it'll be rear springs, probably from National Spring.

I got my eye on some take off rear shocks, TRD Pro, but there's a misunderstanding going on somewhere. The listing shows pictures of rear shocks, the writing for the same ad is for front struts, I asked the guy which set is it, and he said the pictures and the description were correct. I'm pretty sure I'm going to pick those front struts up and install them where the rear shocks go. LOL.

It should be insured, but definitely sucks!

I have gap insurance so vehicle payments are covered if truck was deemed totaled. Then take insurance & find another taco to play w/

I think gap covers the difference of Loan (amount owed) and vehicle value if any. But idk never had it.

Painted my tie rods today, also trimmed my ubolts because I removed an overload from my dakars and was concerned about the bolts hitting the frame rail as I have a Ubolt flip kit... Opening a powder coating shop in a few months so mods will be at a standstill for awhile.

Fairly certain all of us who have posted the softopper 3rd brake light in the last few days used this one. It is the one @EatSleepTacos originally posted. I also added a disconnect (which I will throw up photos of tomorrow finally) in the bed for when I take the topper off.

Finally got around to detailing the damn thing, she was nasty. Also fixed a few aging parts and repainted the grill surround.

I’m sure this has been asked many times on this forum, and believe me I searched (not very long) for an answer, but why in the holy hell does toyota color match a front bumper and leave a rear chrome? I know many DC’s get a color matched rear bumper but some don’t, and I’m fairly certain all access cabs come with that shit looking chrome bumper, like mine ...
