    simple things for now
yep they have the stars. They do stick out some and have found paint markings from doors on them so I would have to say, so far, they are protecting the door.

Anyone have pics of their TRDPros? I've gone back more than ten pages and haven't seen any unless I'm blind. Looking to run a 16x8 -20 or -25 offset on 265/75 KO2s. Just wondering how it'd look since apparently there's a 1" lift on the Pro which I just can't seem to see with the human eye when next to another vehicle lol. Also considered moving to a 285/75 since I don't plan on going to MOAB any time soon.

I didn't do any cutting or trimming. I had to heat and mold the fender liners in the front near the bumper and the rear near the pinch weld. I dont have pictures of how it ended up, but it's not noticeably deformed by any means. I heated, molded just a bit, then drove it until I encountered another rub -- then repeat.

I Used the tire Mark's as a indicator of what to heat and mold. Here are the areas it rubbed.

Rear pinch weld liner driver side.

I also wound up heating and molding the liner on the drivers side where it attaches to the front bumper.

I thought about doing this (pic below is a trimmed front bumper) but honestly I didnt want to push the liner that far out of factory position. I just got it nice and hot and molded it into a better spot to allow for clearance. Like I said a little at a time then test.

Also, just to be clear a good alignment tech could have probably have eliminated any rub. My truck only has 1500 miles on it so I didn't want to drop another $100 for something I really didnt need. The truck tracks perfectly and I didn't want to mess with it. The rub only happened at almost full lock, only in reverse on an incline. A few attempts at massaging eliminated the rub, so it wasn't horrible, my first gen sits similar -19 offset and rubs on the mud flaps in reverse at full lock I just live with it cuz mud flaps help save the paint.

I like those wheels, but I'd really like them in a gunmetal or anthracite... the bright silver would be a little too bright IMHO on a silver truck. I'd rather wheels be a bit more subdued. They do look nice on that red truck, tho!

One thing I have learned with this website is that every generation has their thing. Its easy to say I don't get it but that's not up to me to decide.
We all like these trucks and they are a reflection of who we are. I like chrome and things that shine. I wont change and dont worry if somebody likes it or not.
I like it and apparently a lot of other people still do too.
If murdered is your thing then go for it and enjoy.
I remember when the tuner cars were the big thing. The old timers all bitched as to why these kids were showing up at cruises with them. I liked it because some of them were so well done and I liked seeing these kids getting into those cars. Its the same with these Tacomas.

This... love the red and chrome. Gives it a classic vibe without being over the top. And I was one of those tuner kids showing up to classic car meets.

What's your wheel and tire size? Did you need a lift for them not to rub?

17x8.5 with 265/70. The front mud flaps needed to be trimmed for clearance and some of the front wheel well plastic needed trimming/molding for full suspension cycle.

Just bought Pro Comp 252 Street Lock 16x8 ET-6 4.25 BS.

I test fitted them and was hitting the caliper. Whats the mininum BS or Offset to clear the calipers? Also thoughts on spacers? or should I buy new wheels entirely
