If I only have my bike attached I can still use the other side mounting plate.

@Nimble9 Realize I might have just missed your GB. If there's still space or something opens up please put me down for a pair for my 3rd gen.
    many thanks!

Well I'm back from my Birthday camping trip!

No updates to report, other than I drove 8 hours+ round trip with 2 SideRides without issue, in fact I got a lot of thumbs up from people along the way!

    Hello everyone,
    warning, lots of pictures.
This review took awhile since I got the SideRide mounted up, went out for a wheeling trip and snagged the rear wheel mount against a tree.
To my surprise, nothing broke, but the bed rail and mount pulled out, twisted and bent. The clamps and everything actually stayed secured. After some crafty ideas with a press to flatten everything out, the mount gladly carried my bike for 8+ hours on bumpy roads and the highway. Def recommend.

    here it is first mounted.

I was too focused on getting the mount straightened out, I didn't take any photos of the bends. Here it is flattened and mounted back on. You can see where the bedrail pulled out a bit.
sideride besttop rear.jpgsideride and besttop.jpg sideride added seal d.jpg sideride added seal p.jpg
I'm not sure how anyone else got this to work with their besttop supertop, but I added a second seal underneath to accommodate for the thickness of the sideride and added a piece of wood to mimic the bar used with soft toppers.
sideride gas station.jpg great product, I'll be looking into getting a passenger side sometime. Thanks!

Awesome feedback and review I really appreciate it!

You are the first person (to my knowledge) who has used the SideRide with a Bestop Supertop. I had one in the past and had a feeling that it would work, but seeing it done is fantastic. Great idea to use those seals as well. I think I like those more than the typical foam camper tape that I typically use.

Last note, your rig looks great! Post some more photos with the bike mounted whenever you get a chance! I'm a huge fan of the fender-flare-less with meaty tires look

I'd be interested in a driver's side if there is still space.

Thanks and hope the camping trip went well
