I've searched for threads, and I'm sure they exist, but I can't find them. If you know of them, please post a link, or respond here:

    1) What do I need to know about wheel size and offset, lift, frame modification, and compatible tire sizes, and whether I need to change gearing, in order to put 35's on my 2010 Access Cab 4.0 V6? It already has ~3" in front and back with OME, Bilstein 5100's, Dakar leaves, etc.

    2) Has anyone taken their front fender flares off and just left them off? They look like stupid, puffy, chunks of cotton candy to me, but I'm not wild about fiberglass or the bolt-on Bushwhacker look.

    Thanks

    1) Much, you need to cut, bend and probably tub the front fender wells, chop the cab mounts, and take most of the fender liner out too. Check the suspension forum, and the build page forum.

    2) several guys have, they leave a bunch of square holes in the body work, otherwise I don't think any issues. Although depending on your 35s you might be sticking way past the fender with out flares.

I need to remove left front fender flare from my son's 08 Tacoma to repair and repaint it. Are there any instructions anywhere on how to remove it?
