Experience/opinions on the Pioneer DMH-W4660NEX head unit. Something Better?

Since I can't seem to fix the issue with my OEM hands free mic, I'm looking at replacing the head unit with the subject one.
Anyone have this head unit? I've read reviews online and watched a couple short product videos, but as you know sometimes online reviews leave a lot to be desired.
Outside of this one, are there any other head units I should be looking at with similar features and in the same-ish price range? I'm looking for a capacitive touch screen and wireless CarPlay as two of my top features. I've had good luck with Pioneer head units for decades (that makes me sound old), but I'm not closed off to other brands.
