@My Name is Rahl we are looking for a nut with a 42MM O.D. got any leads? The one we have is black, not sure if that matters or not. We don't care about the thread, the 42MM O.D. is the important part, everything we can get is 41MM.

Do you need the metric OD, or do you have a Standard measurement that will work too?

I could, we have a piece of metric hex that is larger which looks like what we'll have to do.

Here's what happened, a customer brought a motorcycle part in that needed a special tool made. He provided a nut with a 42MM hex, the tool came loose in the lathe and we messed his nut up and we're trying to find another one.

It's no big deal, we'll make one but I thought if we could get one we would.

You might could get one from a place called Metric & Multi-standard. Fastenal has M24 and then skips to M27 which is DIN934. You would need an M25 or M26, so I can't help you there, unless you get the M27 which has the 46mm WAF.

Started on a side project, I enjoy making miniature farm implements. Trying to duplicate this disc I use behind one of our tractors.

Rahl, this is what we needed the 42mm nut for. This goes on a motorcycle, the reverse nut with the internal hex/external threads holds it in. The guy said there’s a special tool for it but it cost $150.
