I will say these D load tires are comfy on the road though. Rides very smooth.

Yep, I had AT3 LT’s on the sequoia and now these XLT’s on the GX. I will buy another set when they wear out.
If you have 17” wheels you could go with 34’s.

Wet performance is amazing! They did pretty good in the snow as well.

The mods have probably changed since last update.
Whats up everyone! I Just recently moved back to the Charlotte area after being in Austin, TX for a few years. Wanted to introduce myself to this group and say hi .

On another note, I'm trying to get some work done on the truck (replace OEM coils, Bilstein shocks, and Upper Control Arms with something nicer like Kings or Fox and SPC UPC's). Went to 4 Wheel Parts and got quoted a rather high number, specifically in labor. Anyone know of a good place besides 4 Wheel Parts near the Charlotte area that might not charge an arm and a leg for this kind of work?

I'd try to do it myself except I'd probably spend quite close to a labor charge simply buying all the tools necessary to complete the job and I don't have a ton of experience doing that kind of thing.

    Any suggestions are highly appreciated!

Dobinson’s coils and shocks. SOS sliders, ditch light brackets, and front skid. Rigid ditch lights. BFG KO(dos) More minor stuff.
Definitely DIY. Not that hard and if you can find a pair of experienced hands to pitch in, it will be easy.

I did my 1st lift after a few YouTube videos and got it done. You pick up tricks to make it easier with experience such as loosen the lower control arms to drop them out of the way. Much easier.

Lol wouldn't expect you to my friend! I'd be in man. Would rather be able to participate and learn rather than have a shop do it anyways.

I’m down for a mod day! I will bring a fan, umbrella and chair. I am really good at pointing out where things go. Hopefully @Kel2427 is providing the beer.

You wouldn't have to worry about that. I'll make sure that cup holder in the chair is never empty.

You could see Blake at Primal 4x4 and Fab if you're in the South Charlotte area. Tell him Lowrance sent you if you're wanting a shop to do it.
