Replaced a destroyed wheel bearing. First time it’s been driveable since august

 

Started the process on getting my navigation/SAT radio/back-up camera properly installed.
I guess I was starting too many electrical projects at once and got in over my head (not with electrical in general, but with the number of stuff I want to do).

 

how fun was drilling the cab?! I drilled 12 holes for my Prinsu. Its never coming off now!

Did you just wire them straight original tag lights?

 

I wired them to the tail lights. It was a shorter run. I just had to make a small notch on the tailgate skin to run it over, and drilled one hole near the tail light

 

I highly recommend baja's.

It was the first proper mod I did to my truck. I’m usually a takes three holes to hang a picture kinda guy. This, I must have measured a hundred times. Came out great and I have to say the roof racks are worth every penny.

 

I like the Front Runner racks.

Ive been considering getting a Vagabond camper recently, and trying to think of ways to fill the rivnuts that I put in.. Still drawing blanks

 

Fill the rivnuts? Like you drilled too many hole? Or you took the rack off?

some sort of flat head bolts?

 

I havent taken it off yet. I need to figure that part out. I was thinking something like a set screw to put in there.

 

Ordered some sound deadener. Going to get the back wall and see what I think.

 

Don't just do the back wall, do all the surfaces within the cab including the outside inner door panels. It made a hell of a difference on my AC. You won't regret it.

 

agreed, honestly, it made the biggest difference in my 1k + sound system.

 

Definitely, my truck came with the TRD exhaust and it was pretty loud on the freeway and now although it's still noticeable but not as loud as it was before. Money well spent.

Today was a rough day bla bla bla on the water
This little 16' was not noticeable at all for this 2nd gen.

and seriously 3rd gen guy, it's the peddle on the right! Lol.

And because it pertains to in trucks general, I stopped by a friend's offroad shop and I saw something worthy of a picture. There's a lot of 37's in that pile.


And I got a line on some 8 month old Goodyear MTR with Kevlar? load range E, 37x12.50R17, same as my BFG's. But BFG's aren't actually 37", closer to 36" when new, mine are old, starting to separate, timing is horrible, but for $600 how can I pass it up?

I'll need to cut more.
