it’s nice to get out, even if it’s to run some gravel roads in the mountains. At this point I have no interest in running hard stuff and tearing my truck up. Too much invested at this point to trash it.

I am reminded of something Eddy said after a Black Mountain, KY trip a bunch of us attended -- that he did not attend, BTW. How many thousands invested and no one challenged their shit?

I don't want to break anything mostly because I don't have spare parts right now, but I do want to push my limits. More than that, I just want to GTFO.

I know my limits, and don’t plan to push it. Of course my limits are still probably higher than most peoples.

I have zero interest in breaking shit and doing trail repairs however. Zero interest...I’ll build a dedicated TJ or buggy eventually for all that. Where it can be trailered to and from, and not have to worry about fixing shit in the dirt to make it home.

Getting out is the most important part IMO, regardless of the difficulty. Hell, I just wanna go camping and try out my new rtt.

Camp URE, overland up the backside of Daniel to enjoy the view, bring a grill to cook some hot dogs or make a sammich off the tailgate! To hell with breaking stuff lol just get out and enjoy yourself. Last weekend, we hit every trail, Taco_life climbed the rock, and no one was worried about breaking anything. Fun and relaxation was had, despite the rainstorm the first night.

sounds like a fun weekend was had. Can’t wait to get out and start camping again.

If I HAD to do some real technical stuff; I know my truck is capable, but I’d rather not bust an axle, tie rod, or drive shaft, or worse. And I definitely would rather not side swipe a tree and fuck up the doors or worse.

    Haha, thanks!

I thought we eliminated all of those in the early 2000's. Everyone knows these days it's pronounced MP4.
