I have a life long friend, that's been diagnosed with Colon Cancer. She's been one of my best friends for 40 years. I practically became a member of her family long, long ago when I was young. Her name is Auna, and I'd truly appreciate anyone who would lift her up in prayer for her surgery on the 27th to be a success. Because she doesn't have any insurance, she's having her surgery done at a medical school hospital in Louisiana. So join me, in asking the Lord to guide the surgeons hands, and remove all the cancer, and for a complete recovery. Thank you very much.

Thought I'd update this post, She's doing fine these days, and Doctors tell her they removed all the cancer, which is good news. Thanks for all the prayers.

Thanks everyone, good news. She had to have one of her ovaries removed, but it was non cancerous. They did that surgery first, and then last Friday they removed her colon cancer and some lymph nodes to check. If they come back clear, then she should be good to go. The doctors are pretty confident that they removed all the colon cancer. She's home resting now and upbeat. I hope that she doesn't have to go through any chemo. I truly believe and always have in the power of prayer.

Update, according to the doctors, their 98% sure she's now cancer free. Some patients opt for chemo just to be certain. She decided not too. They'll keep checking her every six months for the next couple of tears.

Well I just got some really bad news about my twin sister. They left here about mid august heading back to austin tx. My
BIL called me yesterday, and informed me my sister now has brain cancer and their operating in the morning to remove 2 tumors to relieve pressure.. Long term prognosis isn't good. If she survives the surgery, they will start radiation therapy on the other side of her brain in an attempt to shrink the tumors located there. Debbie has put up a good fight dealing with her lung cancer, so please lift her up in prayer tonight, I will really appreciate it.

Prayers for Debbie. May she experience the love and presence of Jesus. Give the doctors wisdom and skill. Amen

my sister came out of surgery a little after 2 pm. She's in the ICU unit through the weekend. She's not out of the woods yet, but I'm truly grateful she's made it this far.

Sad to say, I lost my twin sister to brain cancer on 1/4/21 a little after 10:00 pm. I can't imagine what my BIL is going through after they've been married 41 years. I'm tore up inside from loosing a sister. He lost his Life partner. It's been a rough couple of days, but in one sense I'm glad her suffering is over.
