    this is the coolest thread i've read on this forum. i am fairly certain i'll never have a lt setup with 35s or 37s but i love keeping up with this and can certainly say it's the only thread where i've actually sifted through the 91 pages and counting. great work!!!!!

    It's also got that stupid battery mounting location putting a big weight on a long lever arm, with a stupid small front bushing. Fixing the pickup points between the fender and the rad support will definitely help, but like @EatSleepTacos said, those things fail even on trucks that don't get wheeled hard.

    No doubt the battery is a hug contribution factor which is why it will be addressed. Ideally the battery gets moved to the back but I understand that’s not for everyone.

    And I’ll be having @desertjunkie760 test the first set. He just bought a new radiator support and with the way he drives we will know how effective it is right away!

    I haven’t checked my truck recently. I remember my buddies truck rad support cracked on both sides.
    So being a MT OR it seems it would be beneficial to move the battery to the pass rear spot in the engine bay?

    Best would be to move the battery behind the seat or into the bed. Pass rear in the engine bay is a good start through.
