Haven’t been riding as much lately, but finally got a chance to blow the cobwebs off my ‘87 K75. This has been an unrequested self-affirming post. That is all.

I live the idea of wireless charging and mount together. But that setup is basically $200.

Their case is bulky, IMHO. I run a ram x-mount and have yet to have an issue with the phone falling out.

I did have an issue where riding offroad on the bmw (parallel twin with lots of vibes) the optical image stabilizer on my iphone 6plus that I had at the time got messed up and I had to replace the phone. Since then I don't keep my phone on the bars all that often anymore, too scared to mess up another camera.

I used the Ram X-mount for a while but had 2 separate issues with it. First issue which took place with my old phone was that I had to be extremely careful of how I placed the phone in the mount. On one trip I didn't realize the 4 tips of the mount weren't in the correct positions and it was holding my phone by the power button and the volume button causing a reboot that repeated itself over and over until I saw my display flickering and pulled over to remove my phone. No irreparable damage but it messed up a bunch of settings on my phone and killed my battery pretty quick. I'll chalk that one up to user error but didn't like feeling like it had to be in the mount "just so" every time I used it. Second problem involved my phone I use now a Kyrocera Duraforce Pro. Coming off an interstate ramp onto a bypass road and there was a choppy section of pavement and my phone flew out of the mount and slid several feet down the shoulder of the road. That was my final straw and the end of my X-mount use.

I had the same problem holding a iPhone 6s. Would touch the same buttons. Returned it for the other mount cyclegear had.
