I have not tested it fully, but doesn't the long press when stopped accomplish this? I haven't felt anything coming back on, but I have never been tackling obstacles that fast.

Just a clarification, I believe the reactivation speed is 35mph? At least that is when TCS comes back on when using Auto LSD.

And, these are all in the TCS ECU. We do not have access to this, yet. I have been wondering if we eventually will with vF?

I'm in that group too. It's kinda meh for me. Nothing real groundbreaking all across the board.

I am sorry to hear that. There will be more to come. Hopefully that gets you where you want to be.

Just curious. Are feeling no difference in the AT also?

Yeah, the long press does it, but it turns back on. Could be at 35 MPH, but last winter I thought it was closer to 20. I just want to see it stay off until I turn it back on. Unexpected reactivation can be dangerous. It’s also a buzz kill when trying to have fun. Thanks for pointing out that its in an ECU that Mat doesn’t have access to. Even if he did, I’d understand his reluctance to mess with “safety” features... even though I’d argue that it’s just as bad the way it’s set up now.

I am retesting after first release now.at first didn’t notice much difference so I flashed back to 04b14 2.0 reg super-fob then noticed my shifting was rougher.so I flashed back to the test tune.its hard to gauge if the rev hang was reduced but I find my shifts are more predictable and the tune is also smoother.but I never did try 04b14 2.0 reg octane learn :notsure:

I was climbing a very steep hill with loose rock and just before I would get to the top I would loose power. Eventually had to back down and reroute. Kinda embarrassing since a jeep and 4runner went up it. Is this what yall are talking about? I think I saw a video also in sand and the Tacoma couldn't get over the dune because of loss of power. What are yall long pressing?

Does only VF Tuner need to be uninstalled? or does OVTunedDatalogger need to be uninstalled too?

sounds like you need a sport with a manual transmission. Don't have these issues

Long press the traction control button and it will actually turn things off. Also use the s mode to downshift and leave it in a lower gear. That'll keep it from up shifting in the middle of your sandhill climb

vF Tuner keys sent, including new keys for users with key errors.

If you are using windows 10, there may be some delay in the program opening.
Currently there is no way around this, but we are working on it. It's not because of our program, it's because of some update with windows 10.

I was gonna say the same, but I can also see it being problematic on older machines. :smash:

Later this year we will be releasing a nice exhaust cam code patch for seamless VVT tuning.
Currently the exhaust cam has multiple modes, which you guys don't yet have access to.
Tuning it in stock code is annoying. So we are going to be releasing our custom code.

@OVTune - perhaps I should take this off thread but is there any improvements identified for better fuel delivery for non-boosted NA trucks? I know over in the Turbo thread there is a need but does any of that tuning and fueling hardware come into play for us lowly budget folks or are there really no gains on any power/efficient/smoothness to be had worth chasing?

I've been thinking about bringing this up to you. I still have the bumpy road thing (but it's much better than it used to be) which you said could be VVT or the TC; the power delivery still isn't smooth. Stupid Toyota. Can't wait for some tutorials :)

Any idea when we'll get the editable tunes pack in VF tuner? 2.0 specifically? These general updates are great but us AT folks are waiting for the editable tunes we paid for months ago......MT guys got it as I understand. If it's not coming can I request a refund.
