Heading out to sand lake for the first time to do some camping. I know I will need a OHV pass as well as a sand flag for drive on the beach. does anyone know if I can purchase a flag in sand lake or if there is a store that sells them?

There's not alot at sand lake proper, Just the campgrounds and staging areas. Gotta drive several miles back to town to get to a shop, I'd grab a flag before you go/on the way there.

There is a shop near sand lake that sells flags; I picked up mine from there. I think it was the garage right next to sandlake grocery.

Okay thanks. If I can’t find a place in Portland to pick one up I’ll try my chances when I’m out there

Think you have to drive by the shop/store mentioned above to get to Sand Lakes. Should be pretty easy.
