I'm still loving this Mt. Baker. Thinking about wrapping or painting to match the truck.

What is everyone with an overhang doing to help with rain water pooling up in that area?
Normally I am a fair weather camper, and so I have little experience with this issue. But recently I was out and it rained pretty good at night. In the morning my overhang was full of water and I was afraid it would collapse the outer pole if it had to much more pooling.
    I have a Smittybilt XL

    Thank you

On a whim I threw an extension cord and a box fan in. Coincidentally the past two sites I’ve been on have power. Typically I try to never stay in an organized campground, but burning accross country, they have been useful. The white noise from the fan is great, also it’s keeping me cool. Just as comfortable as home!

Another thing I completely overlooked! Two nights ago in Indiana I was in heavy rainstorms all night! Heavy and steady. In the morning I was watching the water flow beneath me. I than realized the major perk of being off the ground in heavy downpours. I stayed dry. The tent didn’t leak 1 drop.

    Never enough
I just picked up one of these for the RTT. It moves a suprising amount of air even on low setting. Tested it out and it ran for 32 hours straight on low. Plenty for a few nights out!

Hey all! So I just installed my Smittybilt Gen2 Overlander tent on my RCI bedrack and love it. Just wonder what you guys have done about the rainfly/window pole closest to the cab of the truck? looking for other methods of raising it on that side. Any help would be great!IMG_20200723_150122_056.jpg

    Out at Assateague yesterday.
I put the poles in from inside the tent.

I meant since the tent is pretty close to the cab of the truck I can't get the pole to attach

I could get one pole (until I put an arb awning on) and a bungee from the inside of the tent to the roof rack. Now I have to use two bungees but works fine for me.

What roof rack would be recommended for a '13 DCSB? Thinking about the CVT Mt Bachelor but need rails.
