    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
So, I talked to Matt at Recycled Toyotas (did I mention before, this guy is one cool dude). He told me to call Extreme Offroad in Clovis. Sounds like they can rebuild the shocks and have the ready in less than 4 days.

But for the record... All these "Off Road" and "Suspension" shops in Modesto are friggen pathetic. Not one of them can do it, or even know anyone local that can.

I recall the shops in Modesto being mostly just "bolt on" (OK they can cut the front cross member) shops for mall crawler (dairy crawler) chevys and fords.

The following things were done tonight on the truck.

    Washed
    Polished with scratch doctor
    Waxed
    Black trim cleaned
    Bumper reinstalled
    Swing out and spare reinstalled
    Transmission cooler remounted
    Tail Lights reinstalled

Janky 5100s put in the place my Fox Shocks should be. Boy, tomorrow's drive to work is gun be sketch. I don't have enough weight on the bed. The shocks only have about 2 inches of down travel before they fully extend... but My leafs have about 4 inches of down travel lmao.

I'm raked like a Pro Modified dragster.

I'm beginning to think the resi hose fitting was just loose. When I clamped the resi to the shock body I had to twist the resi (so the sticker would look cool) And since then, there has been no oil residue. It may also be that all the nitrogen leaked out and it's really not under pressure anymore.

Put some wider tires on the back and add a wheelie bar and you're set to go. How's it drive after the weight loss?

It's really bucky with no weight back there. The leafs are set up to carry a constant load of +400-500 in the bed. I'm only carrying maybe +150 pounds right now.

As soon as I get the rack and boxes and tent back on, it should smooth out a bunch.

Ive been wanting to clay bar my truck and get down with some Jet Seal. I know its not a showcar but, i'd like to get something on the paint to help fight off the sun so my paint doesnt look like total shit in 5-10 years.

    However, Apartment life sucks lol

I have been waiting to bribe someone with some labor detailing their rig in trade for their garden hose and driveway do to my rig

I fix surfboards all the time, that looks like substantial damage. It will have to be sanded down then lay multiple layers of fiberglass cloth on to fix it, then resand and paint.
