If its a up hill incline, yeah, this truck does not like extended periods going/sitting up hill. Oil drains to the back.
When was the last oil change on it? And did the dealer do it?

ouch, then yeah... Light should not be coming on if the oil level is proper and she is sitting on close to level terrain...

it's just maint required! happened to me and i read the book and said could be oil pressure low, that is to get you into the dealer ASAP for maint required which they will find something required to charge you for. i found this out from a local mechanic.

So, to be clear, it was the yellow exclamation! Light on the dash that led you to believe it was the low oil light?

    Okay that's good to know!

I think the last time I got my oil change was 17k miles. I think that might have done it. BUT the "service required soon" sensor usually comes on around the time needed for an oil change.

Yes ! inside a triangle. yellow is the key, if red then might be something more. when i got the warning it was the day before i had to drive 35miles to an appointment. i panicked and took it to a local fix-it shop and they looked it over and told me what i posted. $65. later i was on my way home. lesson learned, you can clear the light, someone her will have to chime in, for some reason i can't upload a Mp4 file here

Yeah... thats not the oil light... you can reset that maintenance reminder light by switching truck to IGNITION with foot off brake pedal (dont want the truck to start)... all while holding in trip reset knob in instrument bezel.... you'll see 4 lights count down to zero... done... just google it on your phone when youre ready... its easy af
