Refurbishing 2007 Tacoma I got from my son that has used it all that time hauling high school baseball players all over Florida. Between the smells of baseball gloves and sweat, I need to replace all the seats and it also needs a new transmission. Pretty sure he used it to drag the field on several occasions using an apparatus that put a real torque on the transmission.

Where should I start looking to buy replacement seats for the front/back and transmission?

Salvage yard is your best bet and then invest in a quality set of seat covers such as Wet Okole.

I have a set of Wet Okoles, but seems like overkill for a 2007 truck. They'd run about $700 for the entire truck.

I'm actually wanting to replace all of the seats - not just new seat covers. I have tried everything to get that smell out of there. Replacing seats is my next step.

If you keep the smell it can keep you thinking bout your son everytime you get in it. All kidding aside with it being 07 you shouldn't have a problem finding a set in the junkyard and it may even be in the carpet as well
