    Hi all,

I recently moved from Portland, Oregon to Stowe, Vermont.

Knowing all about Vermont and how they salt the roads like crazy up here, I want to protect my truck against rust as best as I can.

From all I have read, it sounds like Fluid Film is a very good option to use.

For at least this first upcoming winter, I think it's best for me to pay a professional for the application of the Fluid Film.
I have never applied Fluid Film before, and don't want to miss any important areas.
I definitely want the shop to spray into all the nooks & crannies, get all the super important parts etc.
Maybe in future winter's I will try applying it myself.

With that said, I am looking for some shop recommendations in the area (Stowe, Morristown, Montpelier, Burlington etc) where I can get the Fluid Film applied.

Has anyone on here used a local shop for the Fluid Film application that they recommend??

Conversely, are there any shops that I should avoid due to sloppy work etc??

    Thanks so much!!

I'm about an hour from you in Cabot, also a recent transplant to VT. I used to do a day or two in the fall back in MA before I moved and would get 10-12 trucks done in one afternoon at $40 each for a Tacoma/T4R sized vehicle and $50 for a full-sized truck. I'm more than happy to extend the same deal to you if you're interested this fall.

On a related note, if you're looking for places to go, and people to wheel with, there's a group of us getting together next weekend to hit Woodbury Road in Calais. I've seen a couple of videos and it looks suitable for stock trucks. Or, if you're more interested in overland type adventures, I'm working on a multi-day trip through the state starting at the Canadian border and heading south all the way to western MA. I'll be doing a dry run of that whole trip and working out the kinks the week of 8/24.
