too bad the scs F5 doesn’t use a center cap. It’s part of the look. If tire shops can’t mount without scratching they shouldn’t be mounting tires. All 5 of mine were scratched as well.

Love the look but finding every wheel scratched kinda took some of the excitement away. Oh well. I’ll rock em until Discount replaces em

    No regrets on these wheels.

Discount Tire scratched all of mine in the same way too, they offered to have a shop fix the paint on them for me but I was too lazy to go through it. I'll eventually look for similar some touch-up paint but since the scratches aren't noticeable unless you're up close I've just learned to live with them.

Well stopped in at Discount Tire this afternoon and the GM took a look at the wheels and called SCS and left a message. Said they will replace them since there isn't much else he can do. He was pretty quiet the whole time so couldn't tell if he was annoyed or what but there was no argument about anything and he owned up to it. Gonna be awhile with the scratched wheels since SCS is out of stock

Hoping someone can help me out with a sizing question. I'm interested in the 16 x 8, -25mm 3.5 inch backspacing F5's. I'm completely stock suspension and my buddies think that I'll need a cab mount chop as well as an adjustable UCA in order to fit those. I'm running 265/75/16s right now so nothing crazy. Anybody running something similar have some experience to share?

    Thanks!

Hoooooo boy these set ups are sweet. I'm looking at these for my 2014 metallic gray TRD off road. Hoping the matte bronze don't instantly sell out, I DM'd SCS and he said they reup in August.

Absolutely, but the idea would be that I would run with stock height for 6 months or so until I can buy the lift I want.

Its doable. @LEXICON and a fee others have done it stock suspension. If it were me I would just wait until you have the lift on.

Discount Tire got me my scratch free replacement wheels! Got them mounted elsewhere, plus a full size spare.
