That is the Walmart special and believe exclusive to them 22" Weber Jumbo Joe. Cost all of $75 and often found for less than $50 new at the end of the year. Shallow bowl and not sure why anyone would want to buy one.

Liked it a lot better when Weber called them the Gold and Silver models instead of original and premium like they do now. Looks like Walmart now calls that model the Jumbo Joe 22" premium which only adds to the confusion.

IIRC even the rotisserie will not fit it. Yeah no matter how you add it up doesn't and never will work out for me.

Ah ok. I’ve see the knock off kettles have a similar shape so I thought maybe someone was trying to pull a fast one.

I agree the bowl is too shallow.

Also $180 could almost get a real kettle premium 22”.

It was in the early 60's, Imperial Glen Blue. Front kettle on the banner at the Weber Kettle Club site. I've never seen one in the wild either

They say if you can remember the 60's you didn't really experience the 60's. Or so I have heard. Wait, maybe that was the 70's...

A cabin I stay in once in awhile is still decked out in the 70's style

They do have a black Weber 18" silver out front. I take my 18" Jumbo Joe and grill grates along for when visitors come over because 18" is just a touch small to do things how I like to do them.

One guy is from Texas, another from Canada and a friend that lives just down the road about 40 miles away.

What @Cold Iron said. Used in 1966 according to Weber.

It's Austin. Hipsters think everything should be cheap/free. Except flannel shirts and beard wax; they'll pay for that :censored:!
