Thought I'd put these on my stock 2019 TRD Pro.
Seems like I don't need them. Would like to put them on......

    Thoughts?.......

When Y'all do this mod do you use Teflon tape on the threads of the barb? Did you go behind the tail light with the breather?

Installed my @CaliRaisedLed fog lights today. I’ve had these fog lights on almost all of my trucks. Easy install and fast shipping as usual from them. Went with the amber pods for snow driving.

Wouldn’t recommend putting the breathers in the tail light.

My breathers (upper right corner) were installed by the battery. Below the battery is some diff fluid; the slightly yellow stuff. Might not want that around your taillights...

Hey y'all finally did my rear diff breather. Initially planned on stubbing it out behind my tail light but not enough hose! Ended up popping out underneath my gas cap instead (inside the fuel flap).

To anyone who's ran this mod, does it look like I have enough slack right where it pops off the diff? It's the line my hand is on.

    Thanks!

EDIT: didn't see that this thread is third gens. Mine is a second, but I think my question stands--unless my second gen rear diff breather isn't worthy of your third gen's diff breathers lol.

I installed some demon brackets and shackles. Not so sure if I like how they look now though. The extent I would ever get stuck is maybe in some snow on a logging road while hunting, so there is no need to get into the whole “these aren’t rated for off road recovery” conversation. Just trying to decide if I should keep them or remove them.

I picked up a cap and some goodies thanks to a member on here. Just have to find the time to get the front bumper on.

Original breather was tightened all the way down where it took a lot of effort to remove. Last few threads on it looked like they were close to stripping. Because the thread is tapered, I did (and have seen others) use teflon tape for install and sealing purposes since you don't want to run it all the way down to the case.

And yes, I ran mine behind tail light. There are a couple harness holes you can use along with securing the hose.

Your diff produces enough pressure to force diff fluid all the way to the battery compartment? Unless the rear acts as a pump, I can't see it pushing the fluid that far and high. I'll check it in a couple months and stand corrected if it does. Its not pushed out of the oem breather which must be a one way...

Measured up the Trail Toys fuel tank skid for drilling:

Drilled one hole, then used the OEM skid to transfer punch the remaining holes:

Ordered the Icon Delta Joint Tubular Upper Control Arm Kit - 58450DJ and will be installed on 8/12, along with lowering the front to give it that factory rake. Here is the before picture and will post an after picture once completed.

I bought them for mine and hunting is exactly why I bought them. I don't really worry about what someone else might think, If I need 'em just once they're worth having.
If you don't care for the look spray them black and you won't even notice them.
