Hello, we just purchased a 2021 Travel trailer that’s 28ft and 5300lbs dry weight. We have a 2018 Tacoma TRD off road with a max tow of 6800. We’re debating on getting a bigger truck because we think the dealer may have sold us a travel trailer bigger than we can tow. Is this too much? Will we be okay? The truck does have Towing Receiver Hitch, Eng Oil Cooler, Pwr Steering Cooler, 4/7-Pin Connector, & Trailer Sway Cntrl. Would love any input or experience with this!

I'm very interested in people experience with that much Weight traveling. I'm looking at a 21' passport trailer with a dry weight of 3400 pounds and am worried about that. I currently have a pop up toy hauler that is about 25' long and has a dry weight of 2400( I probably hall loaded around 3600) hauls very easy. Am wondering if the extra 1000 pound dry weight and added wind resistance is a problem. 2014 Tacoma, 4L double cab with tow package. I've hauled about 6500 pound of trailer weight of hay about an hour's drive and didn't like the idea of always hauling that much, a struggle up steep hills
