    I ran into this forum while searching for the large chrome TOYOTA emblem that goes on the tailgate of my 2002 Tacoma PreRunner V6. It is my 2nd Taco since my 1st one (2003 PreRunner V6) was totaled back in 2015. I was the original and only owner of that 2003 Tacoma and in 12 years I had only put 116,000 miles on it when it was totaled. So I immediately set out to get another one exactly like it which, except for the age, I did. I bought my current one with 150,000 miles and it now has 214,000 miles. Everything on it is original and works perfectly.

    Since buying it I had the timing belt replaced, new engine seals, gaskets, new brake lines and new calipers. I just got it completely repainted in it's original red color. I installed new headlight assemblies and a new chrome plated stainless steel rear bumper. It looks and runs like it just came off the dealer's lot. I have a few more "minor" things I want to do to it but overall I love the 1st generation Tacoma.

    Now back to searching for that large chrome TOYOTA emblem.
