Distance from grille>battery>firewall

So, I am wanting to install some Grille accessories (pa system+grille lights). I need to know the distances listed in the title.

And you don’t own a measuring tape?

 

Possible the truck is several thousand miles away from his body??

You do need the measurements in the Metric system correct??

Batteries in non stock locations might not help I guess

 

No, I do not own a measuring tape. Battery is in stock location. I am just looking for a quick answer. I need to know how how long the cable needs to be, lights come with 1ft of cable, they have extensions in 10ft and 20ft. I am trying to see if I need the extensions. I know I will definitely not need the 20ft extension since the truck is only like 18.5ft or something from bumper to bumper) . Will be running the lights to a 3 rocker (1 on/off for the 2 grille lights, 1 on/off for the PA, 1 momentary for the light pattern change) panel mounted in my cab near the steering wheel.

Please no more smart-aleck answers though, I am just a guy without a measuring device looking for the help of other guys that may have done a project like installing LED bars or external speakers.

10ft should get you from anywhere on the dash to the grill. 20 ft from dash to back bumper. But if those are you only choices I’d always go too long easier to cut to length needed.
