friend was recording and saying that the engine doesn’t sound normal it sounds like it’s dying according to him not sure if it’s normal or not??

thats what I thought even though he said that it sounded like it was dropping below normal idle trucks running good though no vibrations or anything

 

I don’t hear anything out of the ordinary, especially while off road.

This is the 3rd gen forum. There's no room in here for objectivity, logic, reasonableness and certainly not college boy shop talk.

 

Although the 1GR and 2GR share a lot of architecture...the 1GR has 500cc more displacement...all through stroke. It's a bit more torqey at low rpm by nature. It may not necessarily bog as much at very low rpm. The 2GR likes to rev.
